The tour is operated by local artist and sustainability advocate Sabine Janneck, who specializes in creating accessories using upcycled materials such as bicycle inner tubes, food wrappers, and other discarded items.
Guests are guided through each stage of the process, from preparing materials to cutting, shaping, and assembling their own piece. The experience is beginner-friendly and suited to those looking for something creative and meaningful. Most guests create earrings, but a bracelet option is also available for those who prefer an alternative.
The tour takes place in the same space as the Circle Cook Islands shop, where guests can browse and purchase a range of handcrafted bags, purses, earrings, bracelets, and other upcycled accessories.
