Destination Management Cook Islands (DMCK), a member of Turama Pacific Travel Group, is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead its operations across groups, events, weddings, private charters, and cruise ship shore excursions. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring professional service delivery and driving growth across DMCK’s diverse portfolio of tourism experiences and signature events, including the Round Rarotonga Road Race, Aitutaki Marathon, Netball in Paradise, and the Cook Islands Oldies Rugby Mini Festival.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the DMCK team to achieve operational and financial goals.
• Oversee planning and execution of groups, incentive programs, and large-scale events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
• Ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Contribute to marketing and sales initiatives that support overall business growth.
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven management experience in events, travel, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Financial and operational management experience.
• A proactive, creative, and results-driven approach.
