Job Title: Grounds Keeper / Gardener
Location: Turama House, Cook Islands
Reports To: Office/Facilities Manager
Role Overview:
The Groundskeeper/Gardener will maintain and enhance the appearance of Turama House’s lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. This role is ideal for a reliable, hands-on individual who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and attractive environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
Key requirements:
• Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
• Plant, water, fertilize, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Remove weeds, debris, and litter to ensure clean, tidy grounds.
• Maintain garden tools, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
• Support occasional outdoor maintenance tasks or minor repairs as required.
• Ensure safety and compliance with workplace standards while working outdoors.
Skills & Attributes:
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of gardening and landscaping practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
•Experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or landscaping preferred.
• No formal qualifications required, but practical skills and reliability are essential.
